Piggy Back Rides

Ok some of you might not think this is funny ... it may be one of those "you had to be there" things.

Anyways ... on vacation our girl dog likes to be dominant with the male dog. When we go camping she does it constantly. It is kind of embarassing. One time our niece Ashley saw them doing this and asked if they were fighting. Uncle Kevin relpied "no they are just giving piggy back rides".

Kind of weird kind of funny kind of gross. I laugh everytime they do this and Ashley say's "Look Look they are giving piggy back rides".

Yes we are sick people.

Did I forget to mention that Uncle Kevin was in the pirate show? Well, it was the FUNNIEST thing I have ever seen .... Kevin in his pirate hat and vest.

John Snyder Passed Away Today

Carolyn's husband died this afternoon. He hadn't been doing well since he had recently had surgery to remove a lung, but just a few days ago he was able to stand up for the first time. His health rapidly declined this morning and the doctor had informed Carolyn that he only had an hour to live.

I feel so bad for her. I know that she is out there (Colorado) all by herself, and her mom is in hospice care also dying. I can't even imagine what she is going through right now. Everything that is going on is so terrible. All that we can do is hope that everyone else stays healthy and nothing terrible happens to anyone else.

What Are We Doing ???

Ok So I have been unbelievably STRESSED out.

I am TRYING to sell the tanning salon & I have an interested buyer.
She visits ALL of the time and I feel like I am walking on eggshells.
It seems like everytime she comes in I have one of my nagging pesky customers there who like to complain and make me look bad. Today I have to see her again to give her a signed contract & get into some more issues regarding taxes.
I am so over dealing with this. If she changes her mind I am going to be so irritated. Although if all goes well she will be the new owner August 1st so please keep your fingers crossed !!



Most Importantly Grandma O'Dell is in the hospital. We were informed 2 days ago that she was in the hospital and given a heart medication that once taken off of she was going to pass away. Fortunately she has not & when we saw her last night she seemed to be stronger. It is VERY strange to see how people act when somoene is dying. She is still "sharp as a tack" and remembers everything.




I tried to call Heather last night on our way to the hospital as we passed by her house and it looked like they were having a party. I was going to inform her that the rest of the family now knows where she lives because they were ALL in the car with us. Why didnt you answer your phone Heather ??? !!!!!



Other than that not much else happening. I did geta hair cut and I now have bangs. When I find my camera I will take a picture. I will also try to take one with my phone .... that way I can practice all day long at work taking pictures of myself.

Pirate's Dinner Adventure

This weekend we are taking our niece Ashley to the Pirate's Dinner Adventure.
It should be exciting. I was looking at the pics on line and it seems pretty cool.



We will see. I am definately taking my camera.

Blended Salsa Recipe

I BLEND everything together ALL at once

1 LARGE can of tomatoes (do not drain)
1 SMALL can of diced green chiles
4 Garlic cloves (the recipe calls for 1)
1 Bunch of Cilantro
5 Green Onions
1 Jalapeno (if its just me and Kevin I add 3)

Pinch or so of Salt & Pepper
